Ceremony Team
The ceremony team is a year-round commitment. The team supports the lodge by performing induction ceremonies at Ordeals, as well as call-out ceremonies at Summer Camp. The Ceremony team also performs specific ceremonies for Cub Scout Crossover ceremonies, Eagle Scout ceremonies, and OA ceremonies. Come to a fellowship night to see what the Ceremony team is all about and to get involved.
Interested in joining the Ceremony Team? Contact the AIA Chairman on the Lodge Leadership page.
Dance Team
The dance team, also a part of Mawat Woakus Lodge’s AIA program, does a lot of dancing for a lot of events. What kind of dancing, you ask? There are several dances that are performed by the dance team, one of the most common being grass dancing. In addition to that, there are several others, and to find out more information on them or to join, please contact the AIA Chairman, as the list of dances does occasionally change.
The Dance Team usually dances at public lodge events, such as callout ceremonies and winter banquet, and has representation on the Lodge Executive Committee in the AIA Committee. They have also danced for the public upon request, and they can dance for you! To schedule the dance team to come and dance for you, contact the AIA Chairman on the Leadership page.
